Keeping your LinkedIn profile up to date and detailing every stage of your professional life

Avoid using your company logo as a profile picture, or even a selfie or vacation photo. Instead, choose a professional photo, serious or quirky, depending on the message you want to get across. Set the parameters of your personal account to be identifiable and appear more often in searches

The use of carefully selected keywords in all the suggested fields will enable your profile to appear more often in search results. You can also make your account visible by going to Preferences and Privacy to select the information you wish to make public.

Once your profile is complete, perform a based on carefully selected criteria. Refine the search by city if this criterion is important, and invite the most relevant contacts to follow you. Although the limit is set at 30,000 contacts, remain precise in your selection to avoid flooding your news feed with useless information.

Many users publish information on social networks without including a link in their posts, which is a mistake. Instead, take every opportunity to drive traffic to your site! Before posting a news item on LinkedIn, publish the information on your website's blog, for example: write a complete page and publish its URL on LinkedIn (and other networks). By doing so, with your network, you increase your site's visibility on Google (a new page = a new gateway to your site) and you generate Leads in a single action!
