Stripe.com is a particularly easy-to-use e-commerce platform that works without subscription. The service enables you to accept online payments (including credit card payments), manage your store's orders and track invoices in total security. Stripe.com can be installed without having to enter a single line of code. It can connect to an online store, blog or even software, thanks to payment links generated by the system that simply need to be integrated into its pages. Advantages of the Stripe online payment platform and transaction fees
Unlike many competing online payment platforms, Stripe.com is subscription-free. This means you won't have to pay any monthly fees, or any lump sum when you set up the service. All you have to do is register on the site, and you'll immediately have a ready-to-use account capable of collecting your first payments.
A transaction fee is, of course, deducted from each payment. They amount to 1.4% of the total transaction amount + 25 cents for payments made with a European bank card.
Stripe's payment page design is particularly simple (white label). It can be customized with a logo, image and text to fit in with your website. Stripe.com accepts Google Pay payments, the most common bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and provides support for Apple Pay (payment via Touch ID, Face ID or code). How to use Stripe.com with your Sublim.design website (step-by-step tutorial)
Stripe.com offers a wide range of payment options. It's possible to program recurring payments (as part of a subscription), to choose a fixed or variable amount, to enter a billing address and a delivery address - in short, everything is possible. Here's a simple example to help you understand how the service works in general.
- On Stripe.com, go to Connexion and then to Créer votre compte Stripe.
- Confirm your registration with the confirmation email sent by the service.
- Back on Stripe.com, a page will prompt you to Activate payments. Enter the requested information: location, status (private or professional), company type, industry, postal address, phone number, currency, bank details ....
- Go to Product to create a product sheet for the item (or service) you wish to offer for sale.
- Finally, go to Payments and then to Create a payment link to link the product to a payment page. Select your preferences and don't forget to check the delivery address if necessary. Confirm by clicking on Create page.
- In the Payments section, retrieve the payment link you'll need to use on Sublimdesign.
Back on your Sublim.design site, simply access the page dedicated to the product (or service), create a (call-to-action) button and insert the link generated by Stripe.com. Enter the button title: Buy, Subscribe or Order for example.
For obvious security reasons, an SSL certificate must be installed and your site must be secured in https to use the Stripe online payment service. This is the case for all sites generated on https://www.sublim.design/.
